Welcome to Zaneville Manor Farm. Nestled in a secluded valley, it offers some of the most beautiful countryside in West Central Wisconsin USA. Practicing environmentally sound land stewardship, and humane animal husbandry.

Zaneville Manor Farm offers a sound and stable approach to breeding and producing the finest quality Clydesdale horses and rough collies for sale.

In addition to the breeding of my Collies and Clydesdales, I also work with wood.

I am a cabinetmaker, carpenter, a wainwright (carriage builder), and logger. I can transform a tree into a beautiful piece of furniture. I can cut the tree, haul the tree with my horses, saw the tree using my own sawmill, and use the wood to build a piece of furniture in my shop. I am a teacher, demonstrator, and lecturer.

Rough Collie

The Rough Collie is a breed of dog developed originally for herding in Scotland. It was popularized by the Lassie novel, movies, and television shows. A great family dog, the rough collie is an intelligent and friendly dog who loves to work. Rough Collies are calm dogs and are very loyal and protective to their owners and are good with children.

Clydesdale Horse

The Clydesdale is a breed of draft horse derived from the very hard-working farm horses of Scotland, and named for the River Clyde. Thought to be over 300 years old, the breed was extensively used for pulling heavy loads in rural, industrial and urban settings, their common use extending into the 1960s when they were a still a familiar sight pulling the carts of milk and vegetable vendors.
